A postcard for the authors of Good Mail Day.

I love snail mail. It is fun to receive, but even more, it is so much fun to send. That's one reason why I swap deco booklets that are sent by mail from one person to another.

Now I have discovered a new kind of postal hobby. I found a book called Good Mail Day from Amazon.com and I just had to buy it! It is about mail art - how people can make their own artist stamps and express themselves by making creative postcards, wildly decorated envelopes etc. I love this book!
The authors of the book also have a blog Make Every Day a Good Mail Day. I have also found an interesting web site Mail Art where mail art project calls are posted. New network of artists!

My postcard shown in the beginning of the post is made on a cardstock found in the book. The authors asked to send them some postcards so what could be more fun than to go wild and decorate one! I could and probably will make more of these!
